Curriculum

Assistant Professor of Mediterranean Archaeology at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology - University of São Paulo (USP). History major at USP (1989), master's and PhD in Archaeology and Numismatics at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology - USP (1995 and 2001, respectively). Cristina has also finished her post-doctoral research in 2006, done at the Museum of Archeology and Ethnology and at the Centre Camille Julian, Aix-en-Provence, France. Her post-doctoral research focused on Spatial Archaeology, social organization in North Africa in Antiquity. She has excavated in Greek and Portuguese Roman sites as part of the Brown University team in the 90's through 2005. Has experience in Archaeology, focusing on Historical Archaeology, acting on the following subject research: Carthage, Berber society, Archaeology, Numismatics, Iconography and Spatial and Landscape Archaeology. Main researcher at Labeca.
